🦇 Vampires of Madison

A City of Blood, Secrets, and Shattered Pacts

🧩 Overview

Madison’s Kindred population is uniquely fractured, historically defined by conflict, prophecy, and the long shadow of the Capitol Node. Since 1975, the city has been an Anarch Free State, ruled by the charismatic and war-tested Prince Tori Redford. But with the coming of 1985, the stability she forged is crumbling.

The Kindred of Madison are split between Anarchs, Camarilla loyalists, and independents—and all are either pawns or predators in the growing war against the Nameless.

🏛️ Kindred Factions

🟥 1. The Anarch Movement (Ruling Faction)

Founded in rebellion, ruled through uneasy diplomacy.

Prince Tori Redford (Gangrel)

  • Peace broker, Wendigo kinfolk, former war-leader during the Kindred–Garou conflict of 1955.
  • Made Prince after ousting Brandy Madison in 1975, forming the first supernatural pact with the Garou since the Gahara Accords.
  • Controls Capitol Square and mortal government interfaces.
  • Aware of the Nameless and its manipulation of Kindred blood resonance.

“I don’t rule because I’m strongest. I rule because I remember what happened the last time we didn’t listen to the dreams.”Vampires of Madison

Sheriff Borislava Konev (Brujah)

  • Former ghoul of Tremere David Boston; turned Brujah after betrayal.
  • Enforcer of Anarch law. Distrusts Tori’s Garou ties.
  • Controls State Street—commerce, rebellion, and backdoor influence.
  • Secretly holds Sabbat lore and rituals from her bloodline.

Lulu Turner (Lasombra)

  • Sabbat defector turned Anarch patron. Owns The Wreck, a Kindred-friendly nightclub.
  • Ally of Lacy Z. Rivere, addicted to shared dream-echoes and vitae glimmer.
  • Harbors dangerous texts on Abyssal blood resonance.

Lacy Z. Rivere (Hollow One)

  • Not a vampire, but an influential ally.
  • Mage turned broker between Kindred and Mages.
  • Keeps many secrets—particularly about her bond to Lulu Turner and the addictive power of vitae.

🟦 2. Camarilla Loyalists (The Old Guard)

Manipulative, conservative, and still embedded in the city’s infrastructure.

Victor King (Ventrue)

  • CEO, statesman, and covert Nephandic collaborator (unwittingly).
  • Head of The Castle, a corporate complex masking a vampiric throne.
  • Wants to retake the city and end the Kindred–Garou alliance.
  • Employs Magadon and Pentex subsidiaries to research abominations.

“Tori built peace. I build nations. And sometimes, you burn the garden to plant a city.”Vampires and Werewolves…

Michael Kruger (Tremere)

  • Regent of the Bascom Hill Chantry.
  • Researches the Capitol Node and its metaphysical bleed into blood and mind.
  • Works with Victor, but fears what lies beneath the Node.
  • Tracks glyphs, artifacts, and Nephandi signal fragments in Kindred vitae.

🟪 3. Independent Kindred

Brandy Madison (Malkavian)

  • Exiled Prince. Now a haunted visionary with insight into the Nameless.
  • Founded the city’s Kindred power structure in 1919.
  • May be insane—or simply tuned to a deeper truth.
  • Her visions echo the Madness Network, causing reality distortions in Madison.

David None (Nosferatu)

  • Information broker of the Undercity.
  • One of the few Kindred who recognizes Nephandi patterns and Dreaming breaks.
  • Works with both Lacy and Tori—but for his own ends.

Jan None

  • Urban legend. Nosferatu who may or may not exist.
  • Appears in paradox-heavy areas, especially during spiritual glitches.
  • Some suspect Jan is an Echo—a memory of a Kindred who never was.
