Fae of Madison
🧚♀️ Fae of Madison
Dreaming Guardians in a Dying Age
✨ Overview
The Fae of Madison—also known as Changelings—are ancient dream-spirits reborn in mortal flesh, struggling to hold the Dreaming together against banality, despair, and the growing hunger of the Nameless. Madison, with its deep spiritual resonance and connection to the Capitol Node, serves as a last bastion of Glamour. Here, the Fae perform ancient rites, whisper in dreams, and dance on the edge of forgotten power.
Though once united under oaths to protect New Avalon and its seal, the Fae are now divided—caught between fading hope and alluring corruption.
🕯️ Their Role in the Nameless Story
The Fae were instrumental in the original banishment of the Nameless, infusing New Avalon with Glamour and weaving sigils of containment into the Capitol Node. They believe the Dreaming is the final tether keeping the Nameless fully sealed.
As the Capitol Node fractures, and belief in magic fades, so too does the Dreaming—and with it, the Fae’s ability to hold the line.
