Peggy was born into a wealthy English family but rejected aristocratic life in favor of music, nature, and mysticism. While backpacking alone through the Swiss Alps during a violent storm, she was attacked by unseen Umbral entities. Near death, she instinctively called upon a phoenix-like spirit, which responded with fire and renewal. This was her Awakening.

🧘 1968–1980 – Wandering the Dreaming Earth
Peggy traveled Europe, South America, and North Africa, learning yoga, herbalism, spirit work, and dance-based magick. She became a renowned walker of the Umbra, known for using sensory ecstasy to access deeper layers of the spirit worlds.
She formed close alliances with Fae, Changelings, and Garou, who saw her as one of the few Mages who respected their rhythms. Her mastery of healing and rebirth rituals made her a mediator in spiritually torn regions.

Peggy arrived in Madison drawn by its spiritual unrest and the weakening Third Anchor of the Nameless. She founded Mother Fool’s, a bohemian coffeehouse, bookstore, and hidden Chantry, now considered neutral ground for Kindred, Garou, Disparates, and Mages alike.
In 1982, she brokered peace between the Hollow Ones and the Verbena, securing Disparate recognition in the Council. However, in 1984, she made a secret deal with the Fae:
